Lotus Flower

The final look represents the lotus flower, symbolizing rebirth, growth, and beauty emerging from darkness. The foundation of the garment consists of an underdress with a corset and mini skirt structure. The look includes beaded appliqués and hand-dyed organza throughout. I first developed the lotus petals through paper draping before shaping each petal with wire. The fabrics were zig-zag stitched together to maintain their structure, and the petals were then individually hand sewn together. This final look represents the emotional resolution of the collection, finding peace, growth, and transformation after hardship.
