Fashion Design

Over the past four years, I have developed strong technical skills in sewing, patternmaking, and draping. Mastering these fundamentals has allowed me to translate creative concepts into refined, well-constructed garments that will be shown on this page. Through this process, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of design development and craftsmanship, shaping me into the fashion designer I am today.

This dress was the first garment in which I fully brought my vision to life. I developed the concept while thrifting—the assignment required incorporating a sustainable object, and when I found the sunflower, I instantly envisioned an avant-garde dress. The piece was entirely draped in chiffon and hand-sewn to secure the more challenging areas of the design.

This garment was made in my patternmaking class, where we were assigned to create a coat. I paid close attention to detail, ensuring the plaid matched perfectly throughout the garment. I hand-sewed the clasp closure and completed the piece with a fully constructed lining.
